Is Traverse free?
Yes. The map, the slope layer, trip recording, the community and every safety feature are free, with no ads. Pro is optional.
Will safety features ever need Pro?
No. Trip plans, SOS, live position, the map, reports and recording are never part of a paid plan. Pro is more offline and more stats, not more safety.
How do I pay?
On the web, checkout is run by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which handles payment, sales tax, invoices and refunds. In the app, you pay through the App Store or Google Play. Either way, Pro is added to your Traverse account, so it works on every device you sign in to.
Can I cancel?
Any time. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your account goes back to Free with everything kept.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. See the refund policy.
Is there a discount for rescue volunteers and clubs?
Yes. Mountain rescue volunteers, clubs and partner organizations can get Pro free with a code. Write to us.
