Someone knows when you should be back.
Leave a trip plan before you go. If you don’t check in, Traverse raises the alarm step by step, and tells you exactly what it did. Free.
A trip plan takes a minute.
Four things, set once, and you can extend the plan from the trail.
Draw it or pick a saved one. Traverse shows distance, ascent and an estimated time.
The check-in time is what everything else hangs on. Add a margin.
An emergency contact with a phone number. They get an SMS only if you are overdue.
Share the plan with a verified rescue organization, and its staff can see it if it escalates.
The alarm goes up one step at a time.
Nobody is alerted while you are on time. Late by mistake? Check in, and the people who were told hear that you are back.

An SOS that never says more than it knows.
Hold for 3 seconds. The screen shows one of three states, and it only moves on when the next one is true.
Each status says only what we know.
- Prepared
No data connection: an SMS to 112 and your contact opens on your phone with your coordinates. You press send.
- Sent
It reached our server, and responders and your contact were notified. Nobody has confirmed it yet.
- Acknowledged
A responder confirmed they have it. Only then does the app say so.
Made for the places where phones give up.
Plans are checked every minute on our side, so the alarm still goes off if your phone is dead or out of signal.
While a plan is open, your phone sends its position whenever it has signal. That is what your contact and rescuers see.
Each alert, extension and check-in is logged, so you and responders can see exactly what was sent and when.
Save your route and the terrain before you lose signal, with the slope layer for avalanche terrain.
Trip plans, SOS and live position will never be part of a paid plan.
Verified rescue organizations see escalated plans and SOS calls with the route, last position and full history.
